Hello from China!
It's hard to believe we have been here over 2 weeks...oh how our
lives have changed! Sydnie had another great day today. She is
such a happy little girl!
This morning we went to the Six Banyan Buddhist Temple for a
family blessing. This afternoon we went to the American
Consulate for an Oath Ceremony and to pick up Sydnie's
Visa...this was our last official paperwork while in China
(thank the lord!).
Once again, we would like to thank all of our family and friends
for their support throughout this entire adoption process. It
has been 2 long years...and well worth every minute of the wait!
Sydnie is such a blessing and we are very lucky to have her as
our daughter! A special thanks to my mom ("Grandma") for joining
us on this journey!
This will be our last post from China! We leave at 5:15 AM to
start our long journey home!!
With much love,
Lon'ee, Caren & Sydnie
Grandma's Corner
It is hard to believe that we have been here over 2 weeks
already. We have been so busy all the time. I am ready to
go home though and I will pack up the stuff tonight as we
will leave the hotel at 5:15 AM for the airport.
Sydnie is a pure delight!! She has really started to
become herself around us now and is quite a character. We
have already started to call her "Syd" and she definitely
knows her name. She has started to play a lot more now and
loves to be out and about. She is a fast one! Lon'ee will
have his hands full keeping up with her!!
Thanks for all your comments in the guest book and we are
looking forward to all of you meeting Sydnie in person.
Till we meet again,
Sydnie's Grandma |
