OUR ITINERARY

September 12, 2007
Leave U.S.A. for Beijing out of Newark at noon. Fly 8000 miles, nearly 14 hours!

September 13, 2007
Arrive in Beijing in the afternoon. Check into hotel.

September 14, 2007
Spend the day visiting the city of Beijing and the Forbidden City.

September 15, 2007
Meet with adoption agency representatives. Tour Beijing sites such as Tian An Men Square and the Great Wall at Juyongguan.

September 16, 2007
Fly Hefei in Anhui Province. It’s about two hours south of Beijing. Check into hotel and get a good night’s sleep!!

September 17, 2007
GOTCHA DAY!!! Today is the day that we meet Anabel Ru Chun for the first time!!!


September 18-21, 2007
Get to know Anabel, lots of bonding, and complete adoption paperwork. Wait several days for her passport to be processed. Tour the Province of her birth.

September 22, 2007
Fly, with Anabel, from Hefei to Guangzhou. It’s another two hours south. Check into hotel.

September 23, 2007
Visit the city, meet other “forever families,” and get to know our precious Anabel.

September 24, 2007
Take Anabel for her medical exam.

September 25, 2007
Appointments with the Consulate where we will take an oath to love and protect Anabel as if she had been born to us:)

September 26, 2007
Wait for Anabel’s Visa. Try to fit everything back into our suitcases!! Celebrate!

September 27, 2007
Take a long look at Anabel’s rapidly transforming birth country. Fly from Guangzhou to Beijing- about 3 hours. Change planes and fly back to Newark. Land in the USA at 5:30 with our daughter, Anabel!
