Good Morning! It's 630am here and I am up already. Everyone else is sleeping . Paul will be up shortly because he is excited to see if he can get the College Basketball final on our laptop to watch.

I was so tired last night I forgot to mention what a great time Samantha and Emma had swimming. We were at our guide Jack’s pool. The girls were not too crazy about wearing the bathing caps but they had no choice and after a while they thought it was funny.

Today we have a free day. Our hotel has a play room for the young kids which we will visit. When we received updated pictures on Grace from our agency prior to coming to China they showed Grace standing. We have tried to see if she will stand or try walking holding on to our fingers. NO WAY she does not want to stand or try walking. She is 14 months now and we knew she would be a little delayed and will work on standing and walking when we come home. She is a great sleeper !!! She falls asleep around 8ish and sleeps the entire night. One or two nights she woke up and needed a bottle but otherwise she has slept thru. Grace love tangerines but we think the acid is giving her a rash on her cheeks. We took it away yesterday and her face looks better. She loves banana’s and watermelon and cereal with warm milk. We are trying to keep her diet simple for a while since she is not yet used to our favorite menu of Lasanga and garlic bread.

My friend Meghan and I left the husbands and kids and did a little shopping by ourselves this afternoon. Both of us had to buy a small piece of luggage on wheels to hold all the stuff we were buying. We both were great at convincing each other to buy this and buy that, it was so much fun and the Chinese girls are very friendly and helpful. Paul was out of the room when I returned and I was relieved I don’t think if he would have been thrilled to see another piece of luggage coming thru the door.

I just asked Paul what he misses the most – his response “seeing food without heads on it” ..me , I miss my family , my friends and my home. I even miss our dogs Sunshine and Cody. Looking forward to Saturday when we fly home. Goodnight.
