Ni Hao (hello) from China,

I have to make this short because it’s 3am and we are TIRED! Our poor Mylee had a really bad day yesterday. We think that she had a bad reaction to the antibiotic that she was given at the Chinese hospital because she was throwing up and had some other very nasty stuff going on all morning. Needless to say, we’ve had to call housekeeping every ½ hour or so to bring more towels or to change sheets, comforters, etc. The staff here in the hotel has been wonderful and very understanding. We decided to take her to the doctor here in the hotel. The doctor gave us some new medications and hopefully these will do the trick. We had one short appointment at the local police station to apply for Mylee’s passport and then we headed straight back to the room to get our girl better. She has slept quite a bit and has been able to keep down about 8 ounces of apple juice mixed with water. Tomorrow is a free day so we will be camped out in the room all day. We’ll try and take more pictures as she’s feeling better.
