Wednesday, August 13, 2008 The time has finally come to complete the long overdue final update for this website. I began another site after we returned home and have done a much better job keeping it updated. I struggled with this post as it is difficult to try and put into words what this journey has meant to us. Our journey to Mylee and life afterwards has been nothing short of a blessing from God. Each and every day our girls continue to amaze us. They are both so different in personality (Mia is shy and Mylee is outgoing) and their mannerisms (Mia is very ladylike and Mylee is spunky) and they definitely are keeping us on our toes. They are growing up so fast and it’s hard to accept that we no longer have a baby in the house. Mia’s adoption became official on June 13, 2007. Both of our adoption journeys were extremely difficult at times but the end result was well worth it. I can’t imagine our family coming together in any other way. We have the two most perfect daughters for our family and I will cherish every moment of being a mother to these two girls.
