So much to say! Where to begin. First, I must check the website 12 times a day! You two look rested and comfortable - glad to see that!! Would you come home already?!?!?! I had my first field hockey game today, we won 3-0. I have one tomorrow and I'm in the goal! I thought you would like to know how it is at home so I told you. But other than that, there has been a lot of talk about you, Tom, and my new cousin! We are also very sad that Dean left today! Dad cried, I did pretty good until my friends wouldn't stop talking about it. Dear Kathy & Father of the week, I am so sorry you became ill, here comes the but, it comes as no surprise with all the travel fatigue, emotional fatigue, adapting to a baby of 11 mos.,(most of us were able to work up to that from the birth) who comes to you full of life and energy ans also adapting to you oth. It is a whole new way of life. To be sick at all is tough anough but to be sick in a foreign land, and it doesn't get more foreigh than China, is awful. You've been exposed to so many people...well no wonder you picked up something. I only pray you are getting better. Taking on this daily communique with us back home is an additional strain. Just rest and get well. Not that many days left but ones filled with must do activity from the looks of the itinerary. Hope you are well for Hong Kong. Victoria Park has knockout views and an enormous buddah at its highest point. My U.S. Navy Dad was there 61 years ago. I'm sure he'd find it remarkably different today. Get well. We love you. I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better. I'm sure Robin feels the same way, but she was ready to jump on a plane and come take care of you. It sounds like Tom has everything under control. GO TOM!!!!! Also - I just wanted to let you know even though I was worried about Ellie - that cat hasn't changed a bit(other than the fact that he probably can't run as fast as he used to). Heidi has already updated you on Ellie special talents from earlier this week - but the last two days have been ultimate Ellie. Yesterday - he was on your bed and I went to pat him, he would let me pat him for a second and then he would attack. We went through that about 4 times before I gave him tough love and walked away. So today when I went to visit with him, I greeted him(he was under your bed), changed his water and went downstairs till he was ready to socialize. After about 10 minutes he came down and cuddled up on my lap and spent a good amount of time there. We so bonded, but he'll hate me again tomorrow, I'm sure. Looking forward to tomorrows update. Meredith didn't commit to McDreamy or the veterinarian. McDreamy professed his love to Meredith and told her that it was her turn to choose and that he had chosen wrong last time. Poor Izzie is still a mess over Denny. Otherwise, the season premiere was actually pretty tame although there was a very nice tender moment between Yang and Burke and Alex is showing his nice side again. Anyway, this is probably much to unimportant to write about considering what great things are going on in your life but I thought that KJ might appreciate the update:) As for the more important stuff, I was thrilled to hear about the big smile that you get every morning as well as the way Zoe looks at you when she drinks her bottle. Hi Kathy and Tom! This is Valerie writing. We were just talking with Karin and Bobby (his 50th b-day is today) and they told us of your website. What a precious little baby Zoe is!! It is a great idea to have a web site and pictures. We are really happy and excited for you! It's wonderful that you got to see so many attractions in China -sounds like they really set up these meetings with a lot of thought. I can't believe you had such a high temp and are still doing all kinds of things. Hopefully you can sleep on the plane but I don't know... We will all be thrilled to meet Zoe. She really is a sweetheart!! My neighbor adopted a baby from Korea and they still get together with one or two of the other families that also adopted now and then. It's really neat since they shared the same experience in receiving theor babies (in their case the babies were flown over with a nanny and parents met at the airport. Not quite as well planned as your experience) Anyway we wish you a wonderful cry - free trip home on the airplane and will keep you in prayer!! Love, Val and Ron

I now know that you have arrived safely and have landed on American ground. Even though I couldn't come into the airport myself, my resourses have informed me she is more beautiful than her pictures.
