Friday, December 3, 2010 We climbed the Great Wall at Badaling. It was amazing! The mountains are gorgeous.

Our guide told us that the Chinese say you’re not a human being until you’ve climbed the Great Wall.

We climbed to the top and got our exercise!
The weather was perfect near 40 degrees.


We can’t believe we’re on the Great Wall!
This teen loved Maddie and wanted a picture with her.


Maddie thought she was pretty cool, too!


It is steep!


We toured Hutong Lane and rode in rickshaws.
It was fun and very interesting to learn about their way of living.
