Friday, December 11, 2009 A FUN AND RELAXING DAY! Today we got up late, ate breakfast, played at the park, walked around the island and generally just RELAXED! At 3pm we met our guide to do some touring at the Chen Family Temple. I had visited this site when we were here getting Kiah. The weather was simply BEAUTIFUL today and the temple was just fabulous! We walked around for 1.5 hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable and strolled through the temple halls with us. We arrived back at the hotel at almost 5pm. We had a leisurely dinner at Lucy’s and now we are back in the hotel room. The families we had met this week are now on their way home and new families are arriving. We met some families at Lucy’s who had been on the flight to Beijing with us. It was a great reunion! The rest of the families in our agency travel group will arrive this evening as well. We have to meet tomorrow morning to go to Ava’s physical exam. I expect there to be a lot of crying and upsetness from her. Pray for us! I expect that she will have to get several shots. Not looking forward to it but it is necessary for us to get Ava’s visa to travel to the US. Until tomorrow!!!
