The paper chase begins, i.e. certified copies birth certificates, medical checkups, fingerprinting.

First joint interview for home study with Miya Erikson from Vista Del Mar.

November 18, 2004
Individual interviews 1 hour each.

December 2, 2004
All family member interviews . . . Emily and Gianna 1 ½ hours.

December 13, 2004
Last visit for Home study.

December 22, 2004
We receive final copy of Home study. Yahoo!!

January 2005
We apply for H171 for adoption in downtown Los Angeles.

February 2005
H171 is approved, all papers are sent to our agency to be authenticated for China.

March 2005
We receive the Brown envelope from the American Consulate in Guangzhou stating they know of our intentions to adopt in China.

May 2005
We are finally off to China- paper that is . . .

June 16, 2005
We are officially expecting..DTC

January 2006
We are moving to Australia . . . Jim has left January 2nd . . .

March 18, 2006
We have moved, Emily, Gianna and Toni the day after Emily’s 12th Birthday.

April 2006
We are having an updated Home study done to take to China

May 2006
Home study is done. And we are still waiting for our little one!!!!
