GOTCHA DAY!
Hello from Nanchang!!
GRACE IS HERE!!!!!!
What an unbelievable day…Grace is safe and sound right now
sleeping on top of her daddy.
We had a wonderful flight to Nanchang and arrived at 2pm. We
were again met by Shirley our new guide. We had about 1 hour car
ride to our hotel and was told we would meet Grace at 6pm. We
checked into the hotel and had about 2 hours before Shirley was
going to call us to let us know she arrived. Finally at 6:15
there was a knock on the door and it was Shirley…Grace had
arrived and was waiting for us.
We walked with Shirley towards the elevators and surprised there
she was with her nanny and another baby Tessa . We met Tessa’s
parents on the trip to the hotel. They are also a Gladney
family.
She was all smiles and laughing out loud it was great. She was
happy to go with Paul and me as well as Samantha . We went right
back to our room and she was laughing and so adorable. We filled
out some paperwork for tomorrow and will meet our guide at 830
am to start the adoption procedure.
Words could not describe how happy we are. She is more beautiful
than you could ever imagine. We are crazy in love. She loves to
be carried and would not let us put her down. She loved the
books we brought and did take a little bit of her bottle.
