March 28, 2011 To our beautiful daughter and sister Grace Kim Song . . . We love you so much. You amaze us everyday and we are so grateful to have you in our lives. Happy One Year Gotcha Day Anniversary!!! Our lives are busy, busy , busy... but filled with more love and laughter than we could ever have imagined. Grace is a beautiful girl inside and out. She had her cleft lip repaired this past November and is doing wonderful. The surgery went well, we are so grateful to Dr. Wu from Columbia Hospital in New York for her incredible care and concern for Grace and us during her overnight stay. Thanksgiving , and Christmas were extra special this year .. our family shared in our special celebrations and Grace had a ball with her sister Samantha on Christmas morning opening her gifts and almost all of Samantha's gift too! Happy to say, Grace has adjusted extremely well. She is a very loveable little girl. Happy, funny, affectionate, playful, and has a wicked sense of humor! She loves to sing in church and wave to everyone and point to Jesus on the Cross. I truly believe she is aware of the gift we all were given. We love looking back on our trip to China. It was such a unbelievable trip and one that we will share with Grace as she gets older and understands. We look forward to someday returning with Grace to her homeland. Paul and I are so proud of our oldest daughter Samantha. She is an amazing big sister. Grace adores her and loves to play with Samantha in her room which she constantly messes up. When we see the two of them together, hugging and kissing its the best feeling in the world. Thank you to our amazing family and friends for sharing this past year with us and we look forward to lots of new memories this coming year and years to come.
