FLY CHICAGO TO BEIJING
3 hours into the flight, somewhere over the tundra of northern
Canada, the pilot announced that we had to return to Chicago due
to failure of the aircraft’s de-icing mechanism. You can imagine
the disappointment for all the adoptive parents on their way to
China to meet their waiting babies and children. Upon landing in
Chicago, six police officers boarded the plane and escorted a
man off. Hmmmmm, was there truly a problem with the de-icing
mechanism? |
