HANGZHOU
Today Jeff and the other daddy took a tour of West Lake while
the mommies hung out in the hotel with our babies. Good thing we
laid low, both girls had their first poopy diaper today!
Here’s a small world story: Prior to flying to China, Jeff
received an email from a PhD student in China who was interested
in doing a post doc with him. Jeff wrote back saying he would be
in Hangzhou adopting a daughter. Turns out, this young man lived
just a few hours away. He took a train to Hangzhou to meet Jeff,
gave the new daddies a tour of West Lake, and then treated all
of us to the most spectacular dinner we have had so far in
China. He was so wonderful. I told Jeff he better hire this guy! |
