Emme Jade is going to be our fourth July birthday in this family! We laughed when we saw we were adopting another precious “rubie!”

It’s amazing to see how God has orchestrated the details of our family in such a personal way. Many of you followed along as we traveled to China for the first time in 2007 to adopt Ruby Mei. It was an amazing journey. That trip left a handprint on our hearts. It was the start of a journey that would take us back down the beautiful path of adopting from China two more times. It is a testimony of what happens when you respond to God’s call on your life. We have been blessed beyond what we could have ever imagined by stepping out in faith!

We believe that Emme Jade will complete our family in a very special way. We sense that her joyful personality and ready smile will compliment her three big sisters beautifully. Ainsley, Sienna and Ruby will each have a special role in helping Emme Jade to feel safe and loved. We look forward to watching their relationships as sisters evolve. We have seen the miracle of this before, and we are excited to watch the way our girls will take care of each other. We know there will be days that it will be hard.. Transition takes time and a lot of patience. We know what love can do at our house! We have experienced it firsthand.

Emme Jade, you are precious in our eyes. Even before you were born God chose you for this family. He has given you a very special story. One you will share with Sienna and Ruby. And, you are going to be so crazy about your big sister Ainsley. She is so fun and special. Your sisters are patiently waiting for you to come home.

Emme, you are also coming home to a Mom and Dad that love you so much already. We are amazed at how God brought you to us. When we least expected it, you found us! And since that day, God has faithfully shown us that you were born to be our daughter. We can’t wait to give you the family, the home and the love you deserve!
