We made it! At 4:00 p.m. (China time) we arrived in Beijing. It was a very long flight on a very big plane! Fourteen hours to be exact. Jennifer and I are doing well, but quite exhausted even thought we slept a little on the flight. Planning to get a good night's sleep with no problem. We traveled with 6 of the 10 families and plan to meet the others at the hotel later this evening. Everyone is so nice and friendly in our group. They will make great parents to these precious baby girls!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The lobby alone is breathtaking! Looking forward to some sightseeing tomorrow and then traveling to Guizhou on Monday to meet Alivia. To Jim, Doug, Mary, Russell and Jameson: we love and miss you all so very much! Jim, thank you for allowing Jennifer to join me on this journey. To the Hume family: we love you guys and appreciate you taking care of my precious daughter, Mary. God bless you all and we will see all of you in thirteen days. Yes, I am counting the days till we are home. I must close for now as we are headed to dinner for our first of many Chinese meals, and then to an Acrobatic Show. I will right more when I can.
