Story
Li Mengmeng, female, who was born on 3-7-2003, was found
outside the door of 4-101 apartment of Dongli No 24 Building,
Yongtai Community of Xi Sanqi, Haidian District on 4-26-2003.
When she was found, she was covered with a red-on-green flower
blanket, and there was a metal plate with her, which
indicated her name and DOB. The police looked high and low her
relatives, during this time, she was cared by the police of Xi Sanqi
Police Station, and then after seeking her parents in
vain, she was sent into our institute on 6-25-2003 and lives in
this institute to this day.
As Described By Her Caregivers
Mengmeng is extroverted in character, whoever she meets, she
always smiles. She is a smart child, can master newly taught
knowledge quickly. She likes to watch TV, read books, and learn
language especially. With the help of the teacher of language
training, she has learnt a lot of knowledge, can speak many
phrases. She studies earnestly and assiduously, during her spare
time; she even doesn’t rest, holding pictures, compare the real
thing to exercise repeatedly, until she can master it.
Occasionally she plays computer games, she can manipulate games
by using mouse correctly, but she likes dolls most, every time
she holds a doll, she will communicate with it, she will comb
its hair and put on its clothes, dolls are her good friends.
Mengmeng is good at self-care, she can have meals, put on and
take off clothes on her own, and sometimes she can help her
nanny with some work. She usually also likes to play games
together with nanny and other children, and gets along well with
them, she always smiles happily when she enjoys the game.
