The Nursery

I remember the first time I mentioned to Graham that we might be adopting a baby and the response that he gave me. He so innocently said, “Well, we have that other bedroom and nobody sleeps in there!” And so, Sarah Joy will be sleeping in that other bedroom. The way our house is designed, the girls’ bedrooms are downstairs with a bathroom in between them and Grahams’ bedroom and bath is upstairs. Sarah Joy will be sleeping in this brand new beautiful crib that her Nana and Granddaddy Thompson bought for her. We have painted her walls a beautiful shade of green. Now all we have to do is make the bedding and add some details. Every time I walk in her room, I can picture her sleeping in her crib or playing on the floor. We can't wait until that is a reality!
