A Day At The Safari Park…
Hello,
We had fun today since it was a completely free day while we
waited for Lucas’s U.S. Visa. We ate breakfast and then headed
for the Safari Park. It has many things that are the same and
some new things since last year. They have added a cable car
that goes around the park. It is an extra fee and I don’t think
I would pay for it again since you don’t see very many
animals…mostly treetops. They also expanded the panda exhibit a
bunch including adding a 4D movie (not exactly sure what that
means) which we did not go too.
We spent the day at the park and it was hot, hot, hot! Any
exhibits that included air conditioning were looked at more
thoughtfully (well, slowly in the cooler air). As always, the
train through the animals is the best part. Lucas was like an
energizer bunny for almost the whole day. He was SO excited to
see everything! I really can’t do it justice with words, but
there are lots of fun pictures to share so we hope you enjoy
them! I’ll sum it up by saying, it was clear Lucas had never
done anything like this and he loved it.
