This was literally the longest day of my life! It was in fact a day that lasted 36 hours and I felt every second of it!!! So I really need to combine the two…its all beginning to be a big blur already!!!

However I want to say that Eva Airlines was amazing!!!! This plane had everything!!! We enjoyed free movies and television, games, free slippers, and tons more things. We enjoyed great food and good comfort…all things considered. Things would have been just perfect had I not had an attack from the stomach! Lets just say that I experienced labor pains and discomfort like no other….all while chasing a typhoon!!!! It was painful all the way to landing…I could have kissed the ground!!!

We make it through customs with no problems. However I just wanted to note…here we are in a busy airport…in the middle of customs…and there are people jam packed together…and it is quiet. A slight mumbling is all you could here. Everyone was moving forward…doing their thing…and doing it quietly….I was amazed. So we get through customs and we locate our bags….get them together and make our way out of the airport. As we are walking out…my dad seems a gentleman and asks for assistance in finding a taxi for our hotel. Well the gentleman he spoke to was actually expecting us. Now…before I say anymore about this gentleman…I am not exaggerating….HE WAS THE NICEST MAN I HAVE EVER MET!!!! We were totally exhausted, we probably smelled like all kinds of unpleasant, we looked worn out and slightly irritable….and here was “David”. It was like he was the long lost Uncle I had never met….he was like the neighbor next door, he was simply amazing. He took our luggage with a smile and waited with us until our taxi came. He spoke to us about places to go…and wished us great happiness in our adoption. He referred to my dad as “doctor”…it was cute. It was like he wanted to just hop in the cab with us and spend the week with us. He gave us our first impression of Taiwan…and he did it justice….it just kept getting better and better….the people of Taiwan are like no other I have ever come across. Every where we turn we are greeted with smiles and a sweet curiosity. These are the happiest people I have ever seen and the most beautiful!!!! I can not say enough about our experience and the pride I feel for my son and that this is his home land. I am just in awe….and I want to come back again and again and again!!!!

Our rooms are amazing…I have my parents to thank for that. I am staying in a room that is nicer than my own house!!!!! We have more than we need…and all the comforts of home…This is an amazing hotel that is 5 star all the way. Again, the service is amazing…the food…just like home…but even better…the comforts…good enough for Trump himself. I have no worries….except for sleep….which I need to do right now!!!! I am going to sleep tonight…knowing my son…is not a world away from me…but rather only hours….I am so close….I can feel it in my toes!!!!

~Till Tomorrow!

Up at 6 AM and ready to get this journey started in the air...

Apparently the magic luggage number is 3 per person. One 50 lb bag, One 15 lb bag, and one "catch all" purse or for dad 1 video camera.

Everywhere we go...lines...lots of long lines....

The moment of truth comes with our packing.....
We passed with flying colors!

Hope it all arrives with us!!!!!
