WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY

For the first day in a while, we didn't have anything to do. We all just relaxed and for one of the first times, we just enjoyed ourselves at our own pace. You can really tell that Tate Xiao Liang is starting to adjust to his family. He still doesn't speak much English, but he certainly understands a lot. We have found out that he is somewhat a night owl and does enjoy having a slow start in the morning. He definitely takes after his mother. We have found that pool time seems to be the best opportunity for us as a family to make some great memories.

In the past two day's we have found our little man being a little boy who loves to have a lot of fun!! He now swims in the pool with floaties and likes to do it on his own. It's hard to believe where he was a week ago and where he is now.. He truly is our little blessing, we feel he has been with us forever...This evening Emily, our friend Cassie and I decided to go have a foot massage at the local health clinic..what a fun experience 70 mins. for 48 yuan about 12 bucks. We had three young men walk solemnly into the room to start the big event!! It felt as if we were doing something we weren't suppose to...we had our heads, necks, lower back, and feet beaten, rubbed and you name it done to our limbs...all and all we were able to walk out feeling a little less pressure.

Evenings turn out to be a fun time for our little guy. He loves for all 5 of us to get in bed together and watch T.V. You have to pull the covers all the way up to your chin. He controls what we watch. It seems hour by hour he becomes more adjusted to us and his fun personality continues to show.

He loves music.

And he even sings. This is a daily occurrence.

He even appreciates Dad's great voice.

He loves the pool.

A real comedian.
