LAST DAY AT WHITE SWAN HOTEL
Today we had our swearing in ceremony at the US Consulate. There
were perhaps 20 or so couples in the room with their new
children/babies and we all had to promise that we would provide
and care for these precious beings. ABSOLUTELY!
Later we took the famous “Red Couch” photos with two families we
have come to enjoy spending time with and then wandered around
Shamian Island hunting for more treasures to bring home for our
little girl. Prize finds included a beautiful “antique” tiger
headdress that she can wear on her first birthday celebration
with us and another was an exquisitely embroidered section of an
“antique” baby carrier. |
