We signed our contract with GWCA.
November 11th, 2009- January
10th, 2010
We started our homestudy interviews and began the
paperchase which will eventually be part of our “Dossier”.
We had to acquire many documents (birth, marriage,
criminal, employment, references ect.) which also had to
be notorized, certified and authenticated at county, state
and national levels. The homestudy was then reviewed by
our agency, and approved to be sent to USCIS/NBC.
January 26th, 2010
We sent in our I-800 application and homestudy to USCIS/NBC
(American approval to adopt internationally).
February 26th, 2010
Fingerprints completed at USCIS in order to complete our
application process.
March 2nd, 2010
We received our I-797-C!!!! We are approved by the US to
adopt!
March 26th, 2010
DTC (Dossier to China) All our documents were notarized,
translated and couriered to China!
