MEDICAL EXAM DAY
Today was our first full day in
Guangzhou. We arrived late last night, with no time or energy to
post, so go ahead and look at yesterday too:). Guangzhou is
cleaner, more modern, and a lot more humid! The hotel is very
nice, with another great buffet breakfast included. Their are
many adopting families that come here, which is so much fun to
experience. Including our Great Wall group of 20. It was so neat
to see the before in Beijing, and the after now. So many babies!
The most eventful part of the day was the medical exam. We have
been dreading this for months. Part of the exam includes
vaccines. Long story short, this is a USA requirement, and Qwinn
needed 6! Yes, 6 vaccines today! Momma Shawna was a wreck. But
he made through like a trooper. The next eventful thing was
dinner out at a restaurant. First time ever! Uh, we learned a
lot from this.
Sorry for short post. We have bedtime issues. Qwinn does not
like to go to sleep. We are taking it as a compliment:).
