Psalm 33:20-22
We wait in hope for the Lord:
He is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice,
For we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord,
Even as we put our hope in you. |
Every day is one day closer to
Sarah Joy, but for now we are still waiting. The CCAA (Chinese
Center for Adoption Affairs) recently matched all of the
families who were logged in before June 28, 2005. We were logged
in August 24, 2005. Our prayer is that we will be matched
sometime in August or September of this year and have Sarah Joy
home before Christmas. Please continue to pray with us that she
remains healthy and loved until we can bring her home!
Despite the wait, we have been having a wonderful summer. We
enjoyed a great week of Vacation Bible School at our church
followed by a fun week of vacation at Myrtle Beach. Last week,
Leigh Ann was blessed to spend a week with the youth of our
church at Centrifuge camp. God has been so good to us the past
few weeks and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for us
while we are in New York on a mission trip. Our trip to New York
will pretty much finish out the summer for us and then it will
soon be time for school to begin. I really can’t believe that
Graham will be in third grade and Grace will begin Pre-K.
Thank you for remembering us in your prayers! We know that God
is in control of this adoption and He will work it all out in
His timing!
