ONE YEAR UPDATE

Today we celebrated our one year Gotcha Day of our little Jenna. Words can not express the emotions we have for our daughter and the adoption. She has blossomed into a beautiful, outgoing, loud, funny, smart, clever little angel. She brings our family so much joy and happiness. We are blessed beyond words. Today we reflect on the time and emotions that we put into the adoption and without hesitation we would do it all over again and maybe one day we will. We thank God, her birth mother, our adoption agency and China for helping to bring our daughter home to her family.

A lot has happened in the past few months. We went to Disney World at the end of May. We had so much fun. It was wonderful to see the magic of it all through Jenna's eyes. She loved Mickey and Minnie and Cinderella the very best. The boys had a great time and enjoyed showing their little sister all the magic of Disney.

We also celebrated Jenna's 4th birthday on June 13th. This was a very emotional day, as it was the first birthday we have ever been with her to celebrate. We had a huge party with family and friends. I think we had 50 people here. We got her a purple corvette, she thinks she is really big stuff driving that around. She loved blowing out the candles and everyone singing happy birthday to her.

Jenna is now weighing 27 pounds and almost 35 inches tall. She is still tiny for 4, but is really doing well. Her heart doctor is very pleased with China's repair surgery and she doesn't have to go back for another year. She talks nonstop, she loves to sing and dance. She will start ballet and tap dance classes in July. She will also be going to preschool in August.

We are so lucky and proud to have Jenna has our daughter. We love her more than she'll ever know. We look forward to watching her grow and all the new experiences with having a daughter.
