Wednesday, June 30, 2011 THREE-YEAR "GOTCHA DAY" ANNIVERSARY Where does the time go? Today we celebrate Jenna's 3 year Gotcha Day anniversary. She was very excited about this day, as she fully understands adoption and how special it is to our family. Jenna is doing great, thriving in every way possible. She is smart, brave, talented, caring, outgoing and very funny. She is a very special little girl. We could never begin to express the true way we feel about her and how she has touched so many lives in the three years she has been in our family. We know without a doubt this little girl will grow up to be an amazing women that will do great things! Jenna's heart condition still doesn't slow her down. She has had some problems a few times this year. We now know that some time in the near future she will require a valve replacement. This is very scary and upsetting to us, but I know God has big plans for her future and he will be watching over her every step of the way. She goes back to the cardiologist in about two weeks, we are hoping that he says we can wait awhile longer before the surgery has to take place. This year has been very hectic and exciting for our family. Jenna graduated kindergarten and her older brother graduated from high school. Our other big news is that Jenna is going to be a big sister! She is so excited. Look for our newest editions blog in the near future we will call it (Loving Life With Leah). We will travel in the fall to bring her home. This completes Jenna's blog. We would like to thank Joe and Jennifer for their awesome services and look forward to using them again with Leah's blog. We would also like to thank God and every person involved in helping us bring Jenna Leigh home, it was a long process but worth every minute of it. She has taught us so many lessons in life, we don't go a day without thinking about how truly blessed we are to have her as our daughter. We love you to China and back baby girl!
