Today was another fun filled day. After breakfast we attempted
to take a picture of all the babies in our group on the “famous
red couch” here at the White Swan, but as you can tell from the
picture, it did not go well! Bria crawled over a few babies,
stood up, rolled off onto the cushions below, and finally just
sat back and stared at all the other babies as they cried. We
finally gave up on getting a good photo of the babies and took a
group photo that we have not received yet.
Once we all recovered from the pictures, we walked a few blocks
from our hotel to the medical exam building. All of the babies
had a short medical exam (very short!!!). They took her
temperature, weighed and measured her, checked her ears and
throat and listened to her heart. Everything was normal!
This evening, we went on a dinner cruise down the Pearl River.
It was very beautiful! There was a spectacular laser light show
over the river. They played music and the lights changed along
with the music--we really enjoyed it!
We are truly going to miss China, but we are getting so excited
to get back home! Just a few more days… |
