We are so lucky to have this little girl. Jia is incredibly sharp. She teases us, she sees something once and mimics us immediately, and she has an uncanny ability to always win at the “guess which hand” game with her pacifier no matter how difficult. She is fond of blowing raspberries and has a great sense of humor. She is such a cheerful kid, always up for an errand or for meeting new people. She’s a pretty good sleeper too! As you can see, her hair sometimes likes to have a party during naptime.

Jia has two new loves – swimming and swinging. Make that three – she also adores tormenting her little cousin, Han. She just wants to touch him and grab his clothes, but poor Han isn’t mobile yet so he’s pretty defenseless.

Jia has mastered a crawl, and she’s getting faster every day. This means that we need to keep on our toes! She likes to toddle around with us making sure she’s steady just in case. She’s also started saying “mama” and “baba,” much to our delight. She’s a complete joy and we’re so happy that she has made us into a family.

We’ll post another update in a month!
