Our Itinerary

Aug 4: leave Charlotte-fly to JFk - then to Hong Kong

Aug 5: Spend the night in Hong Kong

Aug: 6: Arrive in Nanchang, Jiangxi

Aug: 7: Day of rest

Aug: 8: Forever Family Day: Meet Harper at our hotel

Aug. 9: Go to the Civil Affairs for adoption registration, notarization and the child’s passport.

Aug.10: Go to local department store (Walmart) to buy some daily necessities for the child.

Aug.11: Visit the Fengcheng Orphanage and hopefully we get to meet Harper's foster mom.

Aug.12: Visit the Temple of Teng Wang Ge and tour Nanchang

Aug.13: Pick up the child’s passport in the afternoon. Then fly from Nanchang to Guangzhou.

Aug.14: Take visa photo for the child and then medical exam for the child.

Aug.15: Rest for the day.

Aug.16: Consulate Appointment-Harper becomes a US citizen

Aug.17: Oath-taking ceremony at the Consulate. Shopping in guangzhou

Aug.18: Pick up Harper's visa in the afternoon.

Aug.19: 2 hr. Train ride from Guangzhou to Hong Kong, sight see and spend the night in HK

Aug 20: Fly HK-JFK-Charlotte and arrive home in the evening!
