“Probably this letter will reach you only a few hours before I arrive myself, but not really because right now as I try to say what is in my heart I think my thoughts must be reaching you without waiting for paper and ink and stamps and such. If I ache, it’s because we are apart and yet that can’t be because you are inside and a part of me, so we aren’t really apart at all. Yet I ache but wouldn’t be without the ache, because that would mean being without you and that I can’t be because I love you.” -Ronald Reagan

Today was an amazing day! We had orientation this morning and were given updated reports and pictures of Reagan! She is so beautiful and so little! The most amazing thing is about a wonderful couple that have become our dear friends. Their names are Wayne and Beverly Cox. We met them briefly at an Our China Angels meeting in Bristol at the beginning of our journey. They live in Kingsport, TN. When we went to fingerprint in Nashville, they were there fingerprinting at the same time and on the same day. Those of you who have done this know how amazing that is! We began talking and found that we were both with the same adoption agency. Later, our dossier went to China on the same day and then were logged in (LID) on the same day. To further the story, we got our referrals on the same day and found out that they were from the same orphanage! Praise God! The story does not end there. We have traveled together this whole China trip, sitting together on the planes and everything. Well, this morning, we were told in Reagan’s paperwork that her “special friend” is Erika, the Cox’s baby! They were probably cribmates! We will find out more tomorrow. The Cox’s paperwork said the same about Reagan being Erika’s “special friend!” How amazing is our God! He just continues to bless us in so many ways!!!

We went to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The Forbidden City was huge! It was so beautiful and grand! The intricate details were just amazing! Not to mention the size! I never thought that we would get to the end of it! We kept walking and walking, go through a gate, and then do it all over again! We were tired and then had to fight off the peddlers. We were swarmed! They should make a repellent for that. Susan, get to work on that for me would ya?

Well, tomorrow is our day! The Day we get Reagan! We will get her at 3:00 AM Eastern Standard time. We will try to update quickly tomorrow so that you can see us get our sweet, little one! She is tiny! Tricia and Heather, it looks like the clothes we got her should fit! We will see tomorrow! Well, we are off to bed now! We have a big day ahead! We love you all and miss you!

Ashton and Kieron,

Can you believe that you will be a big sister tomorrow? She will finally be in our arms! I cannot wait to see her tomorrow; but most of all, I cannot wait for you two to see her and for our family to be whole and together, forever! We miss you both so much! Be good for MawMaw and PawPaw. Kieron, does the title of that book fit you? You know the one about the TV? HA! Ashton, I hope you like your books too! Well, we miss and love you both! It won’t be long now!

Sean loved this! He thought it was so funny! There are a few of you who also couldn't have resisted this sign - you know who you are!
