HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

I cannot tell you how proud I am to be an American! I am so thankful to be a citizen of a country that allows me to worship the one and only true God, Jesus Christ! I am ever grateful to those in the military who sacrifice and have sacrificed so much, even their lives to make and keep this country free! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! I am especially proud that one sweet little girl will become a United States citizen on July 6, 2006! Without you service people, this would not even be possible! Thank you again!

Well, your prayers are still being answered! Reagan had another great day with little fever! She still is coughing a lot, but is now coughing stuff up. We still need to use the inhaler a bit, but she is doing so much better! She has been so happy and cheerful! She just smiles and laughs and coos! Most of our travel group had not even seen her smile or act lively until yesterday and today. She is truly a miracle! She is so attached to Sean and me! She loves for us to hold her and to play with her! I thank God for her bonding! She is so sweet! We cannot imagine life without her!

Today we went to the Ocean World and the zoo. It was so miserably hot and humid! It had rained a lot in the morning, and the humidity just stuck around when the sun came out. Reagan didn’t really get into it too much. Sean and I loved the live shows at the arena in Ocean World. They were so amazing. The zoo was okay, but is was kind of heartbreaking. The animals were so skinny, and some of them were chained up! It was really sad to see. I didn’t enjoy it too much. When we got on the bus to go back to the hotel, we were all literally soaking wet. We then came home and showered and went to an afternoon tea. The food was pretty good, and the desserts were too beautiful to eat. After the tea, Sean and I went to do a little more shopping and then played a lot more with Reagan in the room. Our hotel is just beautiful, and the staff is so great! They help you with everything, even turning down your bed. Well, we only have one more day here! We love it here, but we cannot wait to get back to our home and especially our sweet little twins awaiting us at home! Love and miss you all!

Ashton and Kieron,

We wish you were here with us! We miss you so much! It is only 2 more days until we are home with you! You would have loved the zoo and aquarium today. Kieron, we took pictures of a cheetah for you. Ashton, we took pictures of the Giant Panda and monkeys for you. You would have loved them, but it was too hot! Tomorrow we are going to a school. We will be sure to take pictures for you! We love and miss you both so much! Be good!

“Momma, you smiled at me. I was beginning to know your smile…
I looked into his eyes. They were dark and warm. I was beginning to know his face…
Poppa kissed me on the forehead. I knew his eyes now. I knew his face. Momma, you sang a song like the wind in the leaves of the green tree outside. I closed my eyes. I knew your voice now. I knew your smile. I was not afraid anymore.”
