We want to thank you all for all of your prayers! They are
working. Most of all though, we want to thank our Almighty God!
He created Reagan just for our family! He knew when she would
need us most, and that is why it took us so long to get to her!
Why do we even question Him? His plans are perfect, and we are
reassured of that with each passing moment with all three of our
children! Reagan is such a sweet and tender blessing in our
lives, and I cannot even begin to tell you what she means to us
already! I cannot wait to see what God is going to do with her
life.
We were able to get Reagan to eat half a Pediapop, to use her
inhaler, and to take her steroid and antibiotic medicines. The
doctor called us as well to check on her. She said that she was
very worried about her and wanted to make sure that she was
doing ok. She even got her driver to drive over some more
medicine to the hotel. I cannot tell you what a Godsend she has
been. She was so thorough, smart, and caring. I cannot sing her
praises enough! Her name is Dr. Emily Saunders. If you ever need
medical care here in Guangzhou, seek her out at the Western
Clinic at the Garden Hotel. She is excellent!
Reagan slept through the night. When she awoke this morning SHE
ATE ALMOST A WHOLE BOTTLE OF FORMULA!!! We were so happy! She
went right back to sleep and is still sleeping though. I know
that God is in control and that He will take care of her! When
we returned from breakfast, we gave her the inhaler and
steroids. She then ate almost another whole bottle of formula,
and it is only 10:40 AM! PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS
FLOW! We are so thankful for all of you who have been praying
for her! Please continue to pray because she is not completely
out of the woods yet. Also pray for all of the other babies from
her SWI. They are still sick too.
There is not much more to report as far as the sights and
scenery go because we have spent the past 24 hours either at the
clinic or in our room. We had to forgo all of the tours and
dinner last night. Today it is raining pretty hard. If it passes
soon, we plan to take Reagan out for a while and just walk her
around a little. If she is up to it, we may even go to the pool
- that is if the weather clears up. We just wanted to give you a
quick update. We will update again tonight! We love you all!
Ashton and Kieron,
I hope you are doing well today! We have been thinking a lot
about you two, and missing you even more! We took a picture of
the pool for you! You would love it. We still haven’t been down
there, but we hope to soon. So, are you keeping MawMaw and
PawPaw on their toes? I sure hope you are obeying them! Reagan
is wearing one of the outfits you picked out for her today, and
she is wearing squeaky shoes! You will have to show her how to
walk in them! Dad and I are going out tomorrow to get you
something special! I cannot tell you what it is though! We love
you and miss you! Be good!
