This morning we went to the pearl and jade market. It was
overwhelming! There were so many vendors! Our Holt escort, Phebe,
took us to a pearl store that she knew well. It was very
reputable and very reasonable in price! We selected pearl
necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for our three girls for their
wedding day. It was so neat to see them actually make the
jewelry! Their hands move so fast! The jewelry turned out so
beautifully! In Guangdong province, it is the custom to give the
girls gold jewelry for their wedding day. We decided that we
would do the pearls - all from Reagan’s province and country!
Reagan is doing so much better this afternoon! She ate this
morning and then went back to sleep. We thought it would be good
to get her out, so we took her to the market with us. At the
market, she ate another bottle and then went to sleep. When we
got back at lunchtime, she still was very lethargic. We then
decided to take her out to the pool to cool off a little. That
is where she livened up! She loved the water. She was smiling
and laughing! It was great! We only kept her out about an hour
because she was getting tired. While we were at the pool, a
photographer from Marie Claire magazine approached us. She and a
reporter were working on a story about adoption. She asked if
she could take pictures of us together at the pool. We said that
was okay. She took down a little basic information and our room
number and gave us all of her information. She said she would
talk to us later tonight.
When we got back to the room after the pool, Reagan was a wild
woman! It was great! It is so beautiful to be able to hold and
play with the answer to so many prayers! God is amazing! The
difference in her since this morning is tremendous! She is
sleeping now. Thank you all again for praying; please keep doing
it! We love you all!
Debbie, she does her eyes the same way as Taryn does. The way
she looks around with only her eyes and doesn't turn her head!
Sean and I laughed and said that it reminded us of Taryn!

Kieron,
We went to the pool today! It is so hot here! You would love the
pool, especially the waterfall into it! Reagan loves the water,
so you will be able to play a lot with her in the pool at home!
She likes to look at your pictures. She touches your faces in
the picture book and on her bib that has your picture in it.
Ashton, she has your eyebrows! They are so expressive! Kieron,
she has your dimples and she is picky like you are when you eat!
We got you some things today! I cannot wait for you to see them!
We miss and love you lots! It won’t be long now!
