Sianna,
Well we are one month into the “Big Wait”….not sure how many
months lie ahead…but I am counting on 10 more.
Things are quiet here at the Williams home…it is a lazy
Sunday afternoon and your daddy is watching baseball and I
am still in my jammies on the computer. I love days like
this!!!!
The whole family came to the house this past weekend for a
“Mother’s/Father’s Day…Mom’s Birthday and Bruce’s Birthday”
BASH!!! Shewwwwwwwwwww! We did a low country boil with
shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, sausage and corn. I made a seven
layered salad and we had key lime pie for dessert! Your aunt
Ida brought some appetisers and Aunt Jo Ann brought dessert!
Your Aunt Debbie and Uncle Will were there with your cousins
Elizabeth and Charles…they got into your room and played
with some of your toys and they had a ball with “Papa Minky”….your
big…VERY BIG…bear that is waiting for you! It was a great
time!
We have still not worked on your room anymore…Mom and I are
trying to find a time to get together and order your
bedding. I think that July is going to be a crazy time and
so will August…so I am thinking full steam ahead on your
room in September. Aunt Debbie is planning a baby shower…and
we decided we would wait until we got your referral to have
that. We want to know SIZES!!!! ☺ We want to wait until we
see you and know exactly how old you are so we know exactly
what you will need!
I am doing ok right now with the waiting…which is surprising
to me. Before we were Logged in….I thought I was going to go
nuts…but now…I am pretty calm about it. Maybe God has helped
me out with this. Like I said…it doesn’t mean it is
easy…because when I really stop to think about how long it
could take…I get uneasy. Your dad and I had a conversation
on the deck a night or two ago….you know…he really, really,
really is excited to get you home! He was already talking
grandkids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <grin> We also talked about
the possiblity of adopting again because we want you to have
a brother or a sister!!!!! Well…one step at a time…and right
now…I am going to step into the shower…<grin> The dogs are
avoiding me…<grin>
Well love you peanut!!!!
