Hello this is Mike again,
We are all pretty tired from traveling most of the day so this
may
be brief. We left Nanchang around 11 AM this morning, took a 45
minute bus ride to the airport, and flew to the city of
Guangzhou
which is in the southern part of the Guandong province (warmer
weather – Yay!). Everything went pretty smoothly and we arrived
at
the White Swan Hotel I think around 4 PM (time kind of starts
getting crazy at this point).
Of course today is Sarah Joy's 1st birthday and she cried both
times
we sang Happy Birthday to her. She was pretty happy the rest of
the
day so maybe it was just our bad singing, who knows? We did not
have
any cake and ice cream but we did have rice and noodles for
breakfast (again) as we sang to her. I think the best part of
her
1st birthday was just spending time with her new family. As
Leigh
Ann has said she really is everything that we had hoped and
prayed
for and more. I can't wait for her to meet all of you.
Overall we had a good, safe day of travel and we look forward to
the
next few days in Guangzhou.
We have included the few pictures
that
we took today. Guangzhou is a much cleaner and prettier city
than Nanchang and we will be sure to take many more pictures to share
over the next few days.
